One of the train rides
in Los Angeles' Griffith Park has featured a "Freedom Train"
for many years.
It has a paint job very
reminiscent of the 1976 American Freedom Train.
The train runs on the
mile-long Griffith
Park & Southern Railroad, not the Travel Town Railroad
(or the Los Angeles Area Live Steamers) on the other side of the
park.
The train was built by
the All American Streamliner Co. of Los Angeles (18.5" gauge) and
first received its patriotic look in 1976/77.
