The American Freedom
Train Foundation released two versions of the half-four film "All
Aboard America" to promote the AFT. Both were produced by 1776
Productions under the direction of Ralph Weisinger. A copy of the
original version is in the National Archives at College Park, MD.
Both versions were made
in a documentary fashion and share almost exactly the same soundtrack.
The original film was
produced just after the train hit the road and relies mostly on
still images and conceptual drawings. The second version, finished
nearly a year later, includes much more footage of the train in
action.
These were made available
to the media in advance of the train's visit to any given city.
