An official recording of The American Freedom Train Foundation, "here comes The American Freedom Train" was produced in 1976 by Semaphore Records on an LP exquisitely printed with an image of the AFT on its face.

The album contained sounds of the steam locomotives, the audio tracks used inside the display cars, and the official AFT theme song, All Aboard America, written by Steve Lemberg, and sung by Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner.
