The final cover (and certainly the most common) version of the official AFT program had a completely redesigned cover featuring the popular Charles Santore art that was also used on everything from posters to T-shirts to placemats.

The stylized locomotive in the artwork is a hybrid of both of the main AFT locomotives - for the most part it looks like a Reading T-1, but has the double-headlight arrangement and boiler front of the Daylight locomotive.

The inside of this third program was untouched from the second variation. Only the front cover had changed.
