The first version of the official AFT program had a cover that featured a solid red border. The back was a collage of photos that would soon change in subsequent versions.

The illustrated, full-color program consisted of 32-pages telling about the train and its contents. Two pages were dedicated to each of the 10 display cars. The last three pages and the inside back cover gave a listing of each of the 512 artifacts the train carried (another thing that would be updated in subsequent versions) and who had been responsible for donating their use.
