Each month or so of the train's life, the American Freedom Train Foundation printed an edition of an internal newsletter for its staff.

Most editions carried news (e.g. Moving Walkway Slowed For Greater Viewing Pleasure) and reprints of glowing press reviews from towns the train had recently visited.

Most editions were four pages long, although some were longer or had inserts.
