American Freedom Train Lionel HO Catalog

Lionel produced the American Freedom Train in HO scale beginning in 1975 and carrying over into 1976.

This catalog from 1976 depicts the AFT in its actual scheme.

The diesel set features a locomotive with a paint scheme reminiscent of the one on the Preamble Express (the train that toured the country ahead of the AFT).

The AFT steam locomotive was offered for separate sale in the 1977 HO catalog.
