American Freedom Train Bachmann GS-4

Bachmann introduced its HO version of the Daylight locomotive in AFT colors as a limited edition well after the 1975-76 running of the AFT (in the late 1990's).

The most obvious difference between the Lionel version and the Bachmann version is that the boiler on the Bachmann is painted black rather than dark blue.

The real locomotive's boiler was painted black.
