SPECIALIZED PERSONNEL.

ALCO and the Pennsy cooperated to send a full mechanical and operating staff with the locomotive, numbering seven people. The Pullman Company furnished a Pullman Conductor and three Pullman Porters to serve the needs of the U.S. Marines and the other on-board staff. A government archivist also made the entire trip and enjoyed the Pullman Company's comforts.
