The Return of AFT Locomotive #4449

March, 2002 -- Portland, OR. GS-4 #4449 is repainted into AFT colors after 21 years in either orange or black.

Don MacDonald captured these images in the Brooklyn Roundhouse as the locomotive was masked and painted. In the end, the only distinct difference from her 1976 paint is the silver stripes on her pilot (they were white in 1976).
