The official program for the 32nd Annual Stamp Exhibition of Southern California featured artwork of the American Freedom train.

The expo was held at the Los Angeles Hilton October 15-17, 1976.

Three special cachets were available as a set and sold at the expo for $1.50. They had a transportation theme: De Anza Expedition 1776, The Journey West 1876, American Freedom Train 1976.
