American Freedom Train Program Style C

The final cover (and certainly the most common) version of the official AFT program had a complete redesign featuring the popular 'Charles Santore' art that was also used on everything from posters to T-shirts to placemats.

The artwork is a remnant of the plan to use a pair of 2-8-4 Berkshire steam locomotives to power the train.

The inside and back cover of this third version was unchanged from the second variation. Only the front cover had changed.

The logo at center is a remnant of the plan to use an unshrouded N&W Class J 4-8-4 to power the train.
