American Freedom Train Patches

The patch with the big number "1" was worn by the locomotive crew of the former Reading T-1 #2101, renumbered simply #1 for the AFT's journey.

Stan Benjamin collection.

The Boy Scout patch was probably made by a Boy Scout council helping with the train's visit to some particular city.

This patch was worn by members of the T-1 restoration crew and is the oldest AFT patch.
